Welcome to The American Craftsman Workshop!

The purpose of the American Craftsman Workshop is to share woodworking knowledge and encouragement with the world of woodworkers.

I will be sharing woodworking knowledge and skills using real world projects from my business. By using real projects I will share all of the juicy information that woodworkers want to know about. That includes information on the design, construction, technical challenges, finish, and installation.

I have a lot of information to share from the past and projects that are currently in the shop. They will range from remodel to fine woodworking so there should be something for everyone.

If you are anxious to see what I have to share, you can visit my page at LumberJocks and check out my projects section. Or, you can see my other site at amcraftsman.com. That is my online portfolio for my clients.

Stay tuned and visit often!

Welcome to The American Craftsman Workshop

My name is Todd Clippinger and I am a Designer~Craftsman.

I started out as a remodeling contractor in 1997 and have ventured into fine woodworking and design. I became a juried artist in the 2007 Western Design Conference, validating the high level of craftsmanship and designs that I offer.

I am self-taught, I never had an apprenticeship or formal training but my development was not without the help and advice of others. I feel a responsibility to share the knowledge with others as freely as it was shared with me and the internet has provided a great opportunity to do this.

After sharing my knowledge and helping woodworkers at other sites, I have determined to set up my own site for posting my blogs, videos, and woodworking experience.

It is my hope that this sight acts as a repository of information and images that will educate and inspire other woodworkers during their journey in the shop.

I think that sharing is in the true spirit of the American Craftsman and so my motto has become

"Share the Love~Share the Knowledge"
